How I help / Bullying
Bullying
Bullying leaves marks that are not always visible: dread before school, withdrawal from friends, a harsh inner voice that repeats what the bullies said. Online bullying can make it feel like there is nowhere safe at all.
In therapy we deal with both the situation and its effects. That means practical strategies — what to do, who to involve, how to stay safe online — and deeper work to rebuild the confidence and self-worth that bullying erodes. Where appropriate, I help parents and schools respond constructively without making things worse for the young person.
What sessions look like
- 60-minute sessions, in person at Manor Medical Centre, Morningside Manor, Sandton — or online
- A first phase of 1–3 sessions to understand what's going on
- A plan we agree on together — frequency, goals and how parents are involved (for younger clients)
- Invoices you can submit to your medical aid, with the codes your scheme needs
